This Delivery & Shipping Policy applies to all products, bundled items, and services purchased from Teknifi through our website, quotations, invoices, or any other sales channels. This policy must be read together with our Terms & Conditions, Returns Policy, and Privacy Policy.
1. General Delivery Principles
1.1. Teknifi endeavours to deliver products and services within reasonable timeframes. Delivery times may vary depending on product type, availability, configuration requirements, installation requirements, and payment clearance.
1.2. All delivery and shipping timelines provided are estimates only and are not guaranteed unless expressly agreed to in writing.
1.3. Teknifi shall not be held liable for delays caused by third-party couriers, suppliers, manufacturers, force majeure events, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
2. Payment Clearance & Order Processing
2.1. All orders will only be processed, shipped, or scheduled for delivery and/or installation once full payment has been received and cleared in Teknifi’s bank account.
2.2. For EFT payments, proof of payment must be emailed to:

The order number must be used as the payment reference when creating Teknifi as a beneficiary.
2.3. Submission of proof of payment does not constitute cleared funds. Orders will only proceed once payment reflects in Teknifi’s bank account.
2.4. For card payments, orders will only be released once the transaction has been successfully authorised, settled, and confirmed by the payment gateway.
3. Estimated EFT Clearance Times (To FNB)
The following are estimated clearance times for EFT payments made to Teknifi’s FNB account:
FNB to FNB: Immediate
ABSA to FNB: Up to 2 business days
Standard Bank to FNB: Up to 2 business days
Capitec Bank to FNB: Up to 2 business days
Investec Bank to FNB: Up to 2 business days
Discovery Bank to FNB: Up to 2 business days
Nedbank to FNB: Up to 2 business days
TymeBank to FNB: Up to 2 business days
3.1. Clearance times may vary depending on banking systems, public holidays, weekends, or bank-specific processing delays.
4. Delivery of Standard (Non-Bundled) Items
4.1. Delivery timelines for standard, off-the-shelf products commence only after payment has cleared.
4.2. Stock availability is subject to confirmation at the time of payment clearance.
4.3. Teknifi reserves the right to consolidate deliveries or ship items separately where required.
5. Bundled Items, Custom Builds & Installation Packages
5.1. Bundled items, including but not limited to:
Custom-built computers;
PC bundles;
AV, CCTV, networking, Wi-Fi, security, or smart technology bundles;
Packages that include configuration, programming, testing, or installation;
require additional preparation time prior to delivery.
5.2. A minimum build and preparation period of at least 4 (four) business days is required for bundled or custom-built items after payment has fully cleared.
5.3. Build and preparation time may be longer depending on:
Component availability;
Complexity of the build or configuration;
Software installation and testing;
Quality control procedures;
Installation scheduling and site readiness.
5.4. Delivery or installation dates for bundled items are provisional and subject to successful completion of testing and quality checks.
5.5. Teknifi reserves the right to delay delivery or installation if:
Components fail testing;
Additional configuration is required;
Site conditions are not suitable or ready for installation;
Customer-provided information is incorrect or incomplete.
6. Installation Scheduling & Site Readiness
6.1. Bundled items that include labour and installation services (including but not limited to CCTV systems, intercoms, Wi‑Fi solutions, networking, AV installations, security systems, and smart technology installations) must be scheduled using Teknifi’s official installation calendar.
6.2. Customers are required to select an available installation date and time slot as indicated on Teknifi’s calendar. Installation availability is strictly subject to Teknifi’s operational capacity and technician availability.
6.3. Customers may not demand or assume installation dates outside of Teknifi’s published availability. Installation will only take place on dates confirmed by Teknifi.
6.4. Installation services will only be scheduled once:
Full payment has cleared in Teknifi’s bank account;
The bundled item has been fully built, configured, tested, and approved;
The customer has confirmed site readiness.
6.5. The customer is responsible for ensuring:
Safe and reasonable access to the site;
Availability of power, network points, conduits, mounting surfaces, and required infrastructure;
Compliance with all building, electrical, municipal, and safety regulations.
6.6. If the customer is unavailable, the site is not ready, or access is denied at the scheduled time, Teknifi reserves the right to:
Reschedule the installation; and
Charge additional call-out, labour, or rescheduling fees.
6.7. Teknifi reserves the right to suspend or delay installation services due to unsafe site conditions, weather, third-party delays, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
7. Delivery Methods, Courier Services & Risk Transfer
7.1. Delivery may be completed via third-party courier services or Teknifi personnel, depending on the nature of the order.
7.2. Where customers elect to use Teknifi’s partnered or nominated courier services, insurance is NOT included unless expressly requested and quoted for in writing prior to shipment.
7.3. Teknifi shall not be held responsible or liable for any loss, theft, damage, delay, or mishandling of goods once items have been handed over to a third-party courier, whether arranged by Teknifi or selected by the customer.
7.4. Any claims for loss or damage during transit must be raised directly with the courier company responsible for the delivery.
7.5. Risk of loss or damage transfers to the customer upon handover of the goods to the courier or upon delivery or collection, whichever occurs first.
7.6. Customers are advised to inspect goods immediately upon delivery and report any visible damage to the courier at the time of receipt.
8. Failed Deliveries & Rescheduling
8.1. Failed delivery attempts due to incorrect addresses, absence of a recipient, or refusal to accept delivery may result in additional delivery charges.
8.2. Teknifi shall not be responsible for delays or losses arising from incorrect delivery information supplied by the customer.
9. Policy Changes
9.1. Teknifi reserves the right to amend this Delivery & Shipping Policy at any time without prior notice.

7.1. No binding agreement exists until:

8.2. Orders will not be processed until funds have cleared.
9. Delivery, Installation & Risk
9.1. Delivery and installation timelines are estimates only.
9.2. Risk in goods passes to the customer upon delivery, collection, or handover to a third-party courier appointed by the customer.
9.3. Teknifi shall not be liable for delays caused by couriers, suppliers, or events beyond our control.
9.4. Customers must inspect goods upon delivery and report visible damage immediately.
10. Returns, Cancellations & Refunds
10.1. Nothing in this section limits any rights afforded to customers under the Consumer Protection Act (CPA).
10.2. Returns may be considered within 7 business days from date of receipt, provided that the goods are:
Unused;
Unopened;
In their original, undamaged packaging; and
In a resaleable condition.
10.3. Goods that have been opened, used, installed, configured, or where the original packaging is damaged, missing, defaced, or not in a resaleable condition, may still be accepted for return at Teknifi’s sole discretion, subject to a mandatory 25% handling and restocking fee, which shall be deducted from any refund due.
10.4. The 25% handling and restocking fee is intended to cover inspection, testing, repackaging, administration, and restocking costs incurred by Teknifi.
10.5. Custom-built items, configured systems, special-order products, software, licences, digital goods, installations, labour, call-out fees, and services are non-refundable, unless otherwise required by law.
10.6. Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs unless the return is due to a defect as required by the CPA.
10.7. Goods returned that are damaged, incomplete, altered, tampered with, missing components or accessories, or not in their original condition beyond reasonable inspection shall not qualify for any refund or exchange under any circumstances, unless otherwise required by the Consumer Protection Act. Such goods may be rejected and returned to the customer at the customer’s expense.
10.8. Approved refunds will be processed within a reasonable period after inspection and acceptance of the returned goods.
11. Warranties
11.1. Manufacturer warranties apply where relevant.
11.2. Teknifi provides no warranty beyond those required by law unless expressly stated in writing.
11.3. Warranties do not cover:
Physical damage
Incorrect installation
Power surges or lightning
Wear and tear
Misuse or negligence
11.4. Software, data, and configuration are provided as-is with no warranty.
12. Limitation of Liability
12.1. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Teknifi shall not be liable for:
Loss of profits, data, or business
Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

Returns Policy

1. General Principles
1.1. Teknifi aims to provide high-quality products and professional services. Due to the technical nature of our products and installations, returns are handled strictly and fairly.
1.2. Nothing in this policy is intended to limit or exclude any rights afforded to consumers under the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) of South Africa.
2. Eligibility for Returns
2.1. Returns may be requested within 7 (seven) business days from the date of delivery or collection, subject to the conditions below.
2.2. To qualify for a return without penalties, goods must be:
Unused;
Unopened;
In their original, undamaged packaging;
Complete with all accessories, manuals, and components; and
In a resaleable condition.
2.3. Proof of purchase is required for all return requests.
3. Opened or Damaged Packaging – Handling & Restocking Fee
3.1. Goods that have been opened, handled, tested, or where the original packaging is damaged, missing, defaced, or not in a resaleable condition, may be accepted for return at Teknifi’s sole discretion.
3.2. If such a return is approved, a mandatory 25% handling and restocking fee will apply.
3.3. Returns subject to the 25% handling and restocking fee will NOT be refunded in cash or via the original payment method.
3.4. Instead, the approved refund amount (after deduction of the 25% handling and restocking fee) will be issued in the form of a Teknifi store coupon / credit voucher.
3.5. The issued coupon:
Is valid for 2 (two) months from the date of issue;
Is non-transferable;
Cannot be exchanged for cash;
May only be redeemed for products or services offered by Teknifi.
4. Non-Returnable & Non-Refundable Items
The following items are strictly non-returnable and non-refundable, unless otherwise required by the CPA:
Goods that are damaged, incomplete, altered, tampered with, or missing parts or accessories;
Installed, mounted, configured, programmed, or commissioned products;
Custom-built, special-order, or made-to-order items;
Software, licences, digital products, subscriptions, and downloadable content;
Labour, installation fees, call-out fees, diagnostics, and services rendered;
Clearance, promotional, or discounted items marked as non-returnable.
5. Defective Goods
5.1. Defective goods will be handled in accordance with the manufacturer’s warranty and the CPA.
5.2. Teknifi may, at its discretion and where legally permitted:
Repair the product;
Replace the product; or
Issue a refund or store credit.
5.3. Physical damage, misuse, power surges, water damage, incorrect installation by third parties, or normal wear and tear do not qualify as defects.
6. Return Process
6.1. All return requests must be submitted in writing to Teknifi with proof of purchase.
6.2. Goods returned without prior approval may be refused.
6.3. Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs unless the return is required by law due to a verified defect.
6.4. Returned goods are subject to inspection before any return, credit, or coupon is issued.
7. Inspection & Rejection
7.1. Teknifi reserves the right to inspect all returned goods.
