Notes for Customers

• Prices include all labour, vehicle use, fuel, and protective packing.

• Base service covers a 15 km radius from Sandton City, which includes premium suburbs: Atholl, Morningside, Illovo, Hyde Park, Bryanston, Rivonia, Strathaven, Birdhaven, and surrounding areas.

• Extra Distance is not covered to locations beyond the 15km radius.

• Recommended number of laborers per TV size, based on weight and dimensions:

  • Small TV → 1 Laborer

  • Medium TV → 2 Laborers

  • Large TV → 2 Laborers

  • Extra Large TV → 3 Laborers

Terms & Conditions – TV Relocation & Installation

By accepting this quotation, the customer agrees to the following:

1. Optional Transit & Handling Insurance

The Company offers optional insurance to cover accidental damage during transport and installation.

• If insurance is selected and paid, accidental damage will be covered in accordance with the insurer’s terms.
• If insurance is not selected, the service is performed at the customer’s own risk, and the Company’s liability for loss or damage is strictly limited.

2. Limitation of Liability

The Company will take all reasonable care when handling, transporting, and installing the TV.

However, to the maximum extent permitted by law:

• The Company shall not be liable for accidental damage during transport or installation where insurance has not been selected.
• The Company shall not be liable for:
  • Pre-existing damage or latent defects
  • Manufacturer faults or screen failure not caused by handling
  • Power surges, load shedding, or electrical issues

Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the total value of the service provided.

3. Wall Assessment & Installation Surface

The Company will perform a visual and practical assessment of the installation surface before mounting.

However:

• The Company cannot guarantee the internal structural integrity of walls (including hidden cracks, weak plaster, hollow sections, or concealed damage).
• The customer remains responsible for disclosing any known structural issues.
• The Company is not liable for failure caused by hidden or non-visible structural weaknesses.

If the installer advises that a wall is unsuitable and the customer insists on proceeding, the work will be carried out entirely at the customer’s risk.

4. Professional Discretion

The Company reserves the right to:

• Refuse installation on unsafe or unsuitable surfaces
• Recommend alternative mounting solutions

This protects both the equipment and property.

5. Customer-Supplied Equipment

The Company is not responsible for failure or damage caused by:

• Customer-supplied brackets
• Incorrect or incompatible mounting hardware

6. Condition Verification

The customer acknowledges that:

• The TV will be tested (where possible) before removal
• Any existing damage must be declared prior to work

7. Acceptance of Risk

By accepting this quotation:

• The customer confirms understanding of the risks involved in transporting fragile electronic equipment
• The customer accepts these Terms & Conditions in full
